1. Who we are
SwiftVane (“we”, “us”) provides a WhatsApp messaging gateway and dashboard. The service is developed and operated by Swift Projects. SwiftVane is an independent service and is not affiliated with WhatsApp LLC, Meta Platforms, Inc. or any other company (see our Disclaimer).
2. Information we collect
Account information. When an administrator creates or invites you, we store your name, email address, role and account status. Passwords are never stored in readable form.
Enquiries. If you use the contact or plan-request form, we store the name, email, phone number, company and message you submit.
Session and subscription information. For each WhatsApp session we keep its name, status, the linked WhatsApp number, plan and subscription dates, and the API key used to send through it.
Service information. To deliver your messages and keep your linked WhatsApp session working, we process the information needed to operate the service, such as account details and technical credentials for the linked session.
Usage and security information. We keep usage counters to apply plan limits, and an activity log of administrative actions that may include your name and, where available, your IP address.
3. How we use information
- To provide, operate and secure the service, including sending the messages you ask us to send and showing their status.
- To apply plans and our Acceptable Use Policy.
- To respond to enquiries, set up sessions and discuss plans.
- To send operational emails such as invitations, password resets and alerts about your sessions.
- To detect abuse, fix problems and improve reliability.
We do not sell personal information and we do not use it for advertising.
4. Your role and your recipients
When you send messages to other people through the gateway, you decide who receives them and what they say. For that recipient data, you are responsible for having a lawful basis (such as consent) and for complying with the laws that apply to you. We process it only to deliver your messages and provide the service.
5. Who we share information with
- WhatsApp / Meta. Messages you send are delivered through WhatsApp's network, so WhatsApp handles them under its own terms and privacy policy.
- Service providers that host our application and database and send our emails, only as needed to run the service.
- Authorities and advisers where required by law, to protect rights and safety, or to enforce our terms.
6. How long we keep information
We keep information only for as long as we need it to provide the service, resolve disputes, keep appropriate records and meet legal obligations. After that we delete or anonymise it. Information tied to a linked WhatsApp session is removed when that session is removed. You can ask us to delete your information at any time, subject to any legal duty to keep it.
7. Security
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect information, including access controls, restricted API keys and audit logging. No system is perfectly secure, so please keep your API keys private and rotate them if you suspect exposure.
8. Cookies and similar technologies
We use essential cookies to keep you signed in to the dashboard. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. Our pages load fonts from Google Fonts, which means your browser contacts Google when a page loads.
9. Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export or delete your personal information, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To make a request, contact us through the form in our contact section. We may need to verify your identity first.
Privacy complaints. If you have a concern about how your information is handled, send it through the same form with the subject "Privacy complaint". We will acknowledge it and respond within a reasonable time.
10. Children
The service is intended for businesses and developers and is not directed at children under 18. We do not knowingly collect their information.
11. International processing
Our providers may process information in countries other than your own. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for those transfers.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We will change the “Last updated” date above and, for material changes, give reasonable notice.
