1. The service
SwiftVane lets you link a WhatsApp number as a companion device and send messages through it using an API and dashboard. It is an independent service and is not affiliated with, authorised or endorsed by WhatsApp LLC or Meta Platforms, Inc. See the Disclaimer.
2. Eligibility and accounts
- You must be at least 18 and able to enter a binding agreement, and you must use the service for lawful business or development purposes.
- Accounts are created by invitation or by us after a request. You are responsible for activity under your account and your API keys.
- Keep credentials and API keys confidential. Tell us promptly if you suspect misuse; you can rotate a key from the dashboard.
3. Linking numbers
You may link only WhatsApp numbers you own or are authorised to use. If someone else owns the number, make sure they understand and agree before they scan a QR code. Linked devices can be removed at any time from WhatsApp → Linked devices.
4. Acceptable use
You must follow our Acceptable Use Policy. In particular, only message people who expect to hear from you and never use the service for spam, harassment, fraud or anything unlawful.
5. WhatsApp's rules and the risks of an unofficial service
The service works by linking a WhatsApp account as a companion device. WhatsApp may change its platform or enforce its own terms at any time, which can limit, suspend or ban a number, interrupt delivery or stop the service from working. We build in protections such as queueing and rate limits, but we cannot guarantee that any number will remain unrestricted. You use the service at your own risk and are responsible for your compliance with WhatsApp's terms and policies.
6. Plans, payments and refunds
Plans, usage limits and fees are agreed with you directly and recorded in writing (for example by email or order). We may apply per-plan quotas and rate limits and may pause a session that is expired, over quota or in breach of these terms.
No refunds for WhatsApp-related issues. Fees are payable as agreed and, once payment has been made, are non-refundable. In particular, you will not be entitled to a refund, credit or compensation where the problem relates to WhatsApp or Meta, including restrictions, bans or suspensions of a number, limits on message delivery, changes to WhatsApp's platform or policies, or a linked device being logged out by WhatsApp. By paying you confirm that you understand the risks in section 5. Nothing in this section limits any right you have under applicable law that cannot be excluded.
7. Your content and data
You keep ownership of the messages, media and data you send. You grant us the limited right to process them to provide the service. You confirm that you have all the rights and consents needed for what you send and for the recipients you message. See our Privacy Policy for how we handle information.
8. Availability and changes
We aim for a reliable service but do not promise uninterrupted or error-free operation, or that messages will always be delivered. We may change, suspend or discontinue features, and we may perform maintenance, with notice where practical.
9. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or end access immediately if you breach these terms or the Acceptable Use Policy, if your use risks harm to others or to the service, or if required by law. You may stop using the service at any time. Provisions that should survive termination (such as limits on liability) will continue to apply.
10. Disclaimers
The service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement, to the maximum extent permitted by law.
11. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, SwiftVane and its developers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill or a WhatsApp number or account. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the fees you paid for the service in the three months before the event that gave rise to the claim.
12. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from claims, losses and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your content, your messages, your recipients or your breach of these terms or applicable law.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts at Bengaluru, Karnataka have exclusive jurisdiction, unless your written agreement with us says otherwise.
14. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. We will change the “Last updated” date and, for material changes, give reasonable notice. Continued use after a change means you accept it.
